1. TAXES

All the prices presented in our products' list are tax-free. This is because the applicable taxes vary according to the country from which the purchase is made. In the summary of the purchase, its final price is shown, indicating the corresponding amount to the applicable taxes according to the elected country in the shipping information.

Regarding the Value Added Tax, the current tax rate for the territory of the European Union will be applied as a general rule. The purchases made from countries in the European Union and fitted with an intercommunity NIF will be exempt from the payment of the VAT, being indispensable the sending of said document. In the sale to any other country in the world, the VAT will not affect, however, the customs systems of each country will apply the relevant tax fees.

Due to their special tax regime, the geographic areas corresponding to Canarias, Ceuta and Melilla are considered external territories. Therefore, the purchases made by residents of these territories will be exempt of the VAT payment (the expenses for customs clearance and import duties are not included in the item or shipping price, and must be paid on arrival by the receiver of the merchandise).

The prices shown in www.cype.com may be reviewed and modified if the conditions require it at any given time.

2. PAYMENT SYSTEMS

The system will automatically show the different payment options available for your order.

By selecting the bank transfer as the means of payment, you will receive, along with the confirmation of your order, an email which will indicate the account number in which the bank transfer should be made in favor of CYPE Ingenieros, S.A. It is very important to indicate the order number in the subject, as well as your full name, and to make the transfer within 3 days from the date of the order confirmation in order to validate it.

If you wish, you can send us the bank transfer receipt by fax to the number (+34) 965124950 or by email to marketing@cype.com. But, in any case, the order will not be effective until the Administration Department has the bank transfer confirmation.

Do not forget that the payment must be made in EUROS and that all the possible exchange and banking fees are your responsibility for choosing this payment method. For bank transfers from outside of Spain, it is very important to communicate the transfer to your bank and ask them to take over the commissions at the source, as well as all bank fees and expenses corresponding to their entity. Failing to do so, CYPE Ingenieros could paralyze the sending of your order by not receiving the full amount thereof.

 
b) Payment by VISA o MASTERCARD credit card

We guarantee that each of the transactions made in cype.com are 100% safe. All the operations that imply the transmission of personal or bank data are made by using a safe environment. Cype.com uses a server based on the SSL (Secure Socked Layer) security technology. All the information you transmit to us travels encrypted through the network.

Likewise, the data regarding your credit card are not registered in any data base but they go directly to the POS (Point of Sale) bank terminal.

Also, we inform you that in an effort to provide greater security to the credit card owners, we have incorporated in our payment gateway the secure payment system called SEC (Secure Electronic Commerce). This way, if you are the holder of a "secure" credit card,  you will always be able to make your payments with VISA or MASTERCARD in our shop.

In case that your card is not adhered to this payment system, cype.com will only admit the payment with VISA or MASTERCARD credit card to clients who are well-known and whose reliability has been proven beforehand.

 In both cases, when paying with a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card, the following information will always be requested: credit card number, expiration date and a Validation Code, which consists of the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD credit card, offering, thus, more guarantees regarding the safety of the transaction.

What is SEC (Secure Electronic Commerce)?

SEC is a system which guarantees the safety in Internet transactions promoted by Visa International, Mastercard, Microsoft and Netscape, among others. The main purpose is to provide a greater security, both for the Internet user and the stores that sell through the Network by authenticating the buyer as a legitimate holder of the credit card being used.

In practice, when paying with a VISA or MASTERCARD "secure" credit card, you will be asked, beside the number and expiration date, a personal password exclusively for Internet purchases which identifies you, unequivocally, as the cardholder. Thus, no one can make a purchase if the password is unknown. You can distinguish if the Secure Electronic Commerce protocol is active by the logos of VISA "Verified by VISA" and MASTERCARD "Mastercard Secure Code".

If you have not received a personal password exclusively for Internet purchases yet, we advice you to ask your financial entity to adhere your credit cards to the Secure Electronic Commerce services. To do so, you may contact your bank or, if you are an online banking customer, you may ask for it directly online.

4. RETURNS AND CHANGE OF MATERIAL

For products or services purchased online, you also have the right to cancel and return the order within 14 calendar days, for any reason and with no justification whatsoever.

This right, known as the right of withdrawal, has a series of exceptions that are set out in article 103 of the Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (link is external), of 16 November.

Our after-sales department will be able to solve any problem regarding our articles or deliveries, through which we try to offer a fast and efficient service to our customers.  

5. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

In compliance with the provisions of the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, we inform you that as many personal data provided will be included in an automated file of personal data created and maintained under the responsibility of CYPE Ingenieros, S.A.

The purpose of the file is to facilitate the processing of orders and, in case that you have expressly authorized us in the corresponding box, to send you commercial communications regarding our products and services that might be appealing to you, for which they might be communicated to other companies of the Group with this purpose.

cype.com uses "cookies" with the sole purpose of offering a more personalized service and allow the navigation through its pages to be easier and adjusted to the users' preferences.

A "cookie" is a small text file that a web page server stores in the hard disk drive of the user. The "cookies" cannot, by themselves, identify a person since they make no reference to any personal data and cannot be executed as a code or contain viruses.

The cookies will help us, for example, to save the user's configuration (language and navigation country) in order to avoid the need to input these details again in the next visit. The legislation applicable to the contents reflected in the website of CYPE Ingenieros will be the Spanish one, which will be submitted, in turn, to the jurisdiction of the competent courts and tribunals of Alicante, Spain.
